Position Overview

As a Pallet Sorter, you will be responsible for emptying return trailers from store deliveries, including managing empty pallets, totes, and cardboard bales.

• 1st Shift (6AM - 2:30PM)
• Location: 3925 Hwy 190 W Hammond, LA

Description

• Sort returned packaging and move it to the proper warehouse location
• Unload cargo from returned trailers, including pallets, totes, and bales
• Sort items by truck, color, and destination
• Record data on returned packaging
• Load packaging onto trucks according to vendor specifications
• Maintain a clean work area at the end of each shift
• Travel required: No

Environment

• Warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 50F to 90F

Skills

• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours, with bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting

Experience

• 0-2 years relevant experience
