Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Transportation Associate to perform trailer moves, coordinate yard activities, and support a fast-paced transportation network. The role involves operating CMVs in the yard, adhering to DOT regulations, and completing inspections to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be 21 or older. Training may lead to CDL opportunities paid by Amazon, with shifts including weekends and nights as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and be 21+ years old.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds and work 40 hours/week including weekends/nights.
• English proficiency per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Move and park trailers, coordinating yard activities to ensure on-time arrivals and departures with zero defects.
• Perform yard audits and support transportation field teams and external carriers as needed.
• Operate CMVs on non-public roads or in yard and comply with DOT regulations and Amazon policies.
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and notify management of issues.
• Follow delivery schedules and track working hours/breaks in compliance with policy and regulations.
