Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Transportation Associate to perform trailer moves in the yard, coordinate yard activities, and support site operations across multiple vehicle types. You will learn DOT regulations, complete inspections, and maintain safe operations in a dynamic yard environment.

Basic qualifications include a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, English proficiency, and ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver’s license.
• High School or equivalent diploma.
• Candidates must be 21 years or older with ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach.
• Work 40 hours/week, overtime as required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make safety a priority by adhering to company rules and regulations.
• Coordinate yard activities to ensure trailers arrive and depart on time.
• Operate CMVs on non-public roads or in yard to move trailers.
• Learn and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and report issues.
• Follow schedules, track working hours and breaks, and adhere to safety policies.
• Assist as a peer trainer or work at nearby site locations as needed.
• Drive, maneuver, and load/unload trucks using approved equipment.
