Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Transportation Associate in Santa Clarita, CA to support the company's transportation network by moving trailers, coordinating yard activities, conducting audits, and completing driver training programs including CDL-related paths.

You will operate hostlers and other CMVs, ensure DOT compliance, perform vehicle inspections, and help maintain safe, on-time trailer flows across yards and dock areas while collaborating with internal teams and external carriers.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver’s license and be 21 years or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and adhere to English safety guidelines and DOT rules.
• Willingness to learn and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers in yard and coordinate yard activities to ensure on-time departures.
• Perform safety checks, vehicle inspections, and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and Amazon policies; maintain records as required.
• Train and support other associates; work with internal teams and external carriers.
