Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Transportation Associate to perform trailer moves, coordinate yard activities, and support the transportation network. You will operate CMVs, complete driver training (Hostler, CDL School), and uphold safety standards.

In this role, you will follow DOT regulations, document inspections, and work a flexible schedule including weekends or nights when needed, with opportunities for CDL advancement and comprehensive training within Amazon's logistics

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver’s license.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English.

Responsibilities

• Make safety a priority and enforce safety measures for all vehicle operators.
• Support yard operations to ensure trailers arrive/depart on time with zero defects.
• Operate CMVs on non-public roads or in yard to move trailers.
• Learn and comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and report maintenance issues.
• Follow schedules, track hours and breaks per Amazon policy and regulations.
