Qualifications

• No experience required; six months in package handling or switching preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and DOT file.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and work in a fast-paced team.
• Ability to read labels/numbers to sort packages correctly.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management/central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Load and unload packages onto vehicles, trailers, or conveyors.
• Sort packages by scanning, labeling, and memorizing numbers.
• Other duties as assigned.
