Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard and doors using hooks and yard equipment.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves in the Yard Management System or with switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adhere to yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Load and unload packages onto/off vehicles, conveyors and carts.
• Sort packages by scanning, labels and charts and at a continuous pace.
