Qualifications

• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as skate wheels, dock carts, scanners.

Responsibilities

• Moves trailers between yard and doors and performs trailer switching.
• Communicates with management to coordinate trailer movements in the yard.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages and manually handles them as needed.
• Sorts packages by scanning labels and reading charts, using conveyors and carts.
