Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a DOT file.
• Ability to understand and follow safety instructions.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages.
• Ability to use basic tools and equipment listed.

Responsibilities

• Moves trailers between yards and doors (hooking and moving).
• Communicates to coordinate trailer movements with management.
• Documents trailer moves using yard systems or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Loads/unloads packages onto vehicles and conveyors as needed.
• Sorts packages by scanning labels and reading charts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
