Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a yard switcher and package handler in Minnesota. You will move trailers between yard areas and doors, and assist with loading/unloading packages by hand in a fast-paced environment.

A valid CDL is not required, but a current driver’s license is needed, along with the ability to follow safety procedures. Qualifications include good communication, reliability, and basic equipment handling.

Qualifications

• No education required.
• Six months of package handler or switching/CDL operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard, doors and yard switcher movements.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management/central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Demonstrate yard switching safety processes.
