Job summary

Qualifications

• No education required.
• Six months of package handler or switching/CDL operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard, doors and yard switcher movements.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management/central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Demonstrate yard switching safety processes.
