Job summary

Friedman’s Home Improvement seeks an Assistant Store Manager for the Santa Rosa Lumber Yard to lead a diverse team and uphold store policies. You will mentor staff, manage daily workflows, and drive excellent customer service.

You will use Microsoft Office and D365, oversee scheduling and reporting, participate in hiring/training, and collaborate with leadership to maximize sales and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a retail environment or equivalent.
• Minimum mid-level management background with supervisory skills.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees departments of 20-40 Team Members across departments.
• Develops future leaders through coaching and SOP training.
• Aligns with voice of the customer to improve service.
• Manages scheduling, reporting, and labor budgets.
• Hires, trains, and evaluates team members; open/close duties.
