Job summary

Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a full-time yard spotter to operate yard tractors and maneuver 53' dry van trailers at Rialto and Fontana facilities. Enjoy a four-day work week with home daily and overtime opportunities.

Eligibility includes at least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, English proficiency, and DOT Clearinghouse compliance. CDL preferred, non-CDL accepted with related yard experience.

Qualifications

• Previous yard experience required.
• CDL preferred; non-CDL accepted.
• At least 9 months oftractor-trailer experience in past 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in 3 years.
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements.
• English reading and speaking sufficient for safety.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver 53' dry van trailers within the facility.
• Operate yard tractors.
• Home daily.
• Main domicile with coverage at both Rialto and Fontana yards.

Job description

TARGET Yard Spotter – Good Pay + Overtime | 4-Day Workweek

Earn up to $27 per hour plus overtime while working a four-day schedule. CDL and non-CDL positions are available for experienced yard spotters, with opportunities to work between Rialto and Fontana facilities.

Pay Details

Class A CDL:

• $27/hour – PM shift
• $25.50/hour – AM shift

Non-CDL:

• $25/hour – PM shift
• $23.50/hour – AM shift

Additional Pay:

• Overtime after 8 hours per day
• +$0.75/hour when working as a floater between Rialto and Fontana
• Paid weekly

Shift Details

• 4-day workweek
• Current schedule: Friday-Monday

• Schedule may vary based on operational needs

Job Requirements

• Previous yard experience required
• Class A CDL preferred; non-CDL applicants accepted
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT Clearinghouse requirements
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and job duties
• Additional qualifications may apply
