Zusammenfassung

Hirschbach is seeking a Yard Specialist to support fleet operations by inspecting equipment, coordinating repairs, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring tractors and trailers are ready for the road. This is an on-site role requiring physical work and comfort with outdoor conditions.

The position favors candidates with 3–5 years in transportation or fleet maintenance and a CDL Class A. You will work with experienced technicians to keep our trucks and trailers safe and road-ready.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in transportation, fleet maintenance, or related industry, or equivalent military experience.
• Valid driver's license; CDL A preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the role.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

You'll excel here if you bring:

Required

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of experience in the transportation, fleet maintenance, or related industry
  • OR equivalent military experience
• Valid driver's license, CDL A preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the role

Nice to Have

• Certifications (EPA 609, Cummins, Navistar, Daimler)
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (Cummins Insite, DTNA, Bendix, etc.)

Skills and certifications help - but a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn go a long way with us.
