Hirschbach is seeking Diesel Technicians at our Kansas City, KS shop to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on one of the newest fleets.

You will diagnose and repair Freightliner trucks (plus Kenworth and Internationals), use diagnostic tools, record parts and warranty details, and uphold safety and quality standards while collaborating with drivers and teammates.

Formación

• 1-2+ years' fleet maintenance experience or tech school graduate
• Valid driver's license

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair Freightliner trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Service air brakes, suspension, steering and after-treatment systems
• Record repairs, parts usage and warranty details
• Follow safety and quality standards
• Communicate with drivers and fleet management
• Ongoing diesel technology training using diagnostic tools
• Collaborate with teammates to solve problems

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair our fleet — primarily Freightliner trucks, plus Kenworth and Internationals
• Perform preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, air brakes, suspension & steering, after-treatment service, charging systems, and A/C
• Accurately record repairs, parts use, and warranty details
• Follow safety and quality standards in every job
• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers and fleet management
• Stay sharp with ongoing training in the latest diesel technology (Diamond Logic Builder, Cummins Insite, Detroit Diagnostic Link, Bendix Acom, Wabco Toolbox, etc.)
• Collaborate with teammates to solve tough problems
• And take on other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

You’ll excel here if you bring:

Required

• 1-2+ years' experience in fleet maintenance or recent tech school graduate
• Valid driver's license

Strongly Preferred

• Certifications (EPA 609, Cummins, Navistar, Daimler)
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (Cummins Insite, DTNA, Bendix, etc.)

Nice to Have

• CDL A or B
