Job summary

Preston Feather Building Centers in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Yard Services Specialist to help ensure customers receive the right materials safely and efficiently. This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and strong service orientation.

You will unload and stage materials, verify loads for safety, assist customers, and keep the yard and warehouse tidy. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a chauffeur’s or CDL is preferred with sponsorship possible.

Position Summary

As a Yard Services Specialist, you’ll help ensure customers receive the right materials—safely, efficiently, and with excellent service. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, problem-solving, and being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, label, and stage materials accurately
