Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting for weather, supply, delivery, and personnel.
• Delegate responsibilities and projects to crew members.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of inventory to prevent damage and maintain accessibility.
• Oversee timely and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, hazard-free yard and safe equipment operation.
• Ensure team members are trained and certified to operate equipment.
• Respond to accidents or near misses per company incident procedures.
• Emphasize safe use of tools and safety gear with training as needed.
• Serve as a key point of contact for resolving yard-related service issues.
