Job summary

La Copa Ventures, Inc. seeks a Yard Supervisor to oversee daily yard operations, inventory, and safety for field support. You will coordinate with office staff, field supervisors, crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure materials and equipment are prepared and distributed efficiently.

The role requires organizing yard activities, maintaining inventory, and ensuring materials are available for upcoming jobs while adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience in landscaping, construction, warehouse, yard operations preferred.
• Ability to safely operate Bobcat, loader, and other company equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard operations to ensure organization, cleanliness, safety and maintenance according to company standards.
• Receive, organize, and distribute materials, equipment, trees, plants, irrigation supplies, and other items for field operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and communicate shortages or purchasing needs to management.
• Monitor and manage tree and plant inventory to reduce waste and material loss.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials, equipment, pallets, and deliveries.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling for efficient distribution.
• Coordinate with scheduling and field supervisors to prepare materials for upcoming jobs.
• Distribute materials to crews and subcontractors as needed and support late-start projects.
