Job summary

Hawthorne CAT® is seeking a Yard Coordinator to efficiently receive, release, and organize machines and attachments in the equipment yard. You will serve as the primary contact for customers and haulers entering the facility, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process with accurate inventory control.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a California Class C license, and the ability to obtain forklift and scissor lift certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid California Class "C" Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to be Forklift and Scissor Lift Certified within 30 days of employment.
• Able to demonstrate high proficiency in computer/phone applications.
• Must have a mobile phone that can upload appliable apps and ability to take pictures.
• Excellent communication ability and high level of customer relation skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Receive, release, and organize machines and attachments within the yard.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and haulers entering the facility.
• Communicate inbound equipment statuses to achieve prompt sales invoices.
• Prepare equipment for sales/demo and staging.
• Operate CAT Inspect or other digital inspection programs.
