Job summary

Hawthorne Cat is seeking a Yard Clerk to efficiently receive, release and organize equipment and attachments in the yard. You will be the primary contact for customers and haulers, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out with accurate inventory control.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a California driver’s license, and forklift/scissor lift certification within 30 days. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Proficient with computer/phone applications and uploading apps.

Responsibilities

• Receive, release, and organize machines and attachments in the equipment yard.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and haulers.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with staging for sales/demo.
• Communicate inbound equipment statuses and assist with safety practices.
