Job summary

QXO seeks a reliable Yard Associate to support safe, efficient yard and warehouse operations in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will assist customers, handle materials, prepare orders, and keep a well-organized yard, contributing to high service levels and accurate material flow.

Ideal candidates have strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Training for forklift operation and safety procedures is provided as needed, with possible overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in lumberyard/warehouse/building materials is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds as required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Receive, organize, and store building materials in yard/warehouse locations.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks, deliveries, and transfers.
• Monitor safety and maintain clean, organized yards and storage areas.
