Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete in Corsicana, Texas, is seeking a concrete laborer to assist in production and learn essential skills such as rigging, forklift operation, blasting, mesh laying, and general labor duties. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and safety in a year-round, full-time position.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of construction laborer experience, forklift experience, and a high school diploma or GED, with a willingness to work outside in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous construction laborer experience.
• 1 year of forklift experience.
• Heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Able to work outside year round.
• Fluent English.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision to learn rigging, strapping loads, operating forklifts, sand blasting or acid washing, laying mesh, and general labor duties.
• Shows consistent improvement in performing these skills.
• Remains engaged in productive work or informs Crew Leader of other tasks.
• Arrives on time and works according to company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty and mutual respect for others.
• Acts as a team player and seeks ways to improve work processes.
• Maintains plant safety per Safety Manual and supervisor directions.

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently looking to add a concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Rigging
  • Strapping down loads on trucks
  • Operating forklifts
  • Sand blasting or acid washing
  • Laying mesh
  • Cleaning up and other general laborer duties
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel.
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator.
