Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete, a division of Enterprise Properties, Inc., is seeking a concrete laborer to join our production team in Omaha, Nebraska. Under supervision, you will learn to set up forms, oil forms, lay mesh, and tie reinforcing steel while contributing to safe, efficient production.

This full-time, year-round position offers medical, dental and vision benefits after 60 days, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, overtime opportunities and room for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a concrete laborer role.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Job description

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently looking to add a concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Setting up and oiling forms
  • Laying mesh
  • Tying reinforcing bars
  • Tying steel
  • Setting inserts
  • Striking off
  • Stripping forms
  • Cleaning up
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel.
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator.
