Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete, a leading provider of architectural precast components, is seeking a concrete laborer for its production team. This full-time role emphasizes learning basic fabrication and site-work tasks, with a path to broader responsibilities as skills grow.

The position requires 1–2 years of construction laborer experience, forklift experience, and a commitment to safety. Benefits include medical, dental, vision after 60 days, 401K with match, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous construction laborer experience.
• 1 year of forklift experience.
• Heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Able to work outside year round.
• Fluent English.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic skills under supervisor, including rigging, strapping loads, operating forklifts, sand blasting or acid washing, laying mesh, and general labor duties.
• Show consistent improvement in using these skills.
• Stay actively engaged in productive work or assist the Crew Leader with other tasks.
• Arrive on time and work in accordance with company policy and safety rules.
• Be a team player and look for ways to improve processes and safety.

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation's premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently looking to add a concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities:

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Rigging
  • Strapping down loads on trucks
  • Operating forklifts
  • Sand blasting or acid washing
  • Laying mesh
  • Cleaning up and other general laborer duties
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel.
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator.
