Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete in Corsicana, TX is seeking a concrete laborer to join our production team. You will learn basic forming, reinforcing, and finishing tasks under supervision to help fabricate precast components.

We offer full-time year-round work, starting at $18 per hour with overtime opportunities, plus benefits after 60 days, 401(k) with match, and potential for advancement within the Enterprise Properties family.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a concrete laborer role.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to work 55+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision to learn basic skills: setting up and oiling forms, laying mesh, tying reinforcing bars and steel, setting inserts.
• Striking off and stripping forms, and cleaning up.
• Shows consistent improvement in performing these skills.
• Remain engaged in productive work or assist crew leader as needed.
• Come to work regularly and on time, per company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty and respect for others, and works as a team player.
• Maintain plant safety per Safety Manual and Safety Coordinator directions.

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation's premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently looking to add a concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities:

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Setting up and oiling forms
  • Laying mesh
  • Tying reinforcing bars
  • Tying steel
  • Setting inserts
  • Striking off
  • Stripping forms
  • Cleaning up
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills.
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks.
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy.
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel.
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator.
