Job summary

Enterprise Precast Concrete is seeking a concrete laborer to join our production team in Corsicana, Texas. You will learn and perform basic skills under supervision, including setting up forms, laying mesh, tying bars, and other prep tasks for precast components.

The role is full-time year-round with overtime opportunities and benefits after 60 days; candidates must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a concrete laborer role.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work 55+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Learn setup and oiling forms under supervision.
• Assist with laying mesh and tying reinforcing bars.
• Assist with setting inserts and striking off forms.
• Strip forms and clean up work area.

We are currently looking to add a concrete laborer to our production team! Below is more regarding job specifics.

Job responsibilities:

• Works under direct supervision of a crew leader for the purpose of learning the following basic skills:
  • Setting up and oiling forms
  • Laying mesh
  • Tying reinforcing bars
  • Tying steel
  • Setting inserts
  • Striking off
  • Stripping forms
  • Cleaning up
• Shows consistent improvement in the ability to perform work utilizing these skills
• Takes the initiative to remain involved in productive work throughout the workday, either by performing work related to fabrication of precast concrete products or by informing the Crew Leader of availability to perform other tasks
• Comes to work regularly and on time, in accordance with company policy
• Demonstrates loyalty to the company and mutual respect for other personnel
• Functions as a team player, and looks for ways to improve the way work is done
• Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant safety in accordance with the Enterprise Properties, Inc. Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator
