Qualifications

• Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the distribution center, including moving trailers between shipping and receiving docks.
• Perform equipment inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and internal procedures.
• Couple and uncouple tractor-trailer units, including connecting and disconnecting brake lines as needed.
• Move and organize line haul trailers in the shipping yard to ensure efficient inventory flow.
• Ensure trailers are ready for loading, unloading, and transport.
• Document all trailer moves within the shipping yard.
• Refuel switcher truck when needed.
