Job summary

Group O, Inc. in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Yard Jockey Driver to safely move trailers and equipment within the warehouse yard and dock areas. You will help position trailers for loading/unloading and maintain yard organization across shifts.

The role requires a CDL Class A and a valid driver's license, strong safety practices, and the ability to log movements and coordinate with dock teams. Full-time, first shift, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and CDL Class A required.
• Ability to qualify for operation of company yard equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers and containers within the facility yard.
• Position trailers at loading docks according to schedules and priorities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Inspect trailers for damage and report issues.
• Maintain accurate trailer movement logs and yard inventory records.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, transportation teams, and supervisors.
• Monitor yard conditions and report safety hazards.
• Assist with yard audits and safety programs.
