Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a qualified Yard Jockey to move trailers in our distribution yard using a Class A CDL. You will train under a Professional Driver Trainer and progress to performing yard moves safely, efficiently and on schedule to support gate times and customer satisfaction.

The role requires night shifts, DOT-compliant driving, and ability to work overtime. Pay is $23 per hour with benefits starting day one, and opportunities to grow within a large Texas-based

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Medical Card and ability to pass DOT physical.
• 1-2 years experience with yard jockey or tractor-trailer operations.
• Willing to work nights and overtime and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive a jockey wagon to move trailers around the yard and docks.
• Log trailer temperatures and enter data into the yard management system.
• Perform yard inventory, vehicle fueling, cleaning and inspections.
• Assist in related duties and respond to operational needs as required.
