Group O is seeking a Yard Jockey Driver in Mansfield, TX to move trailers and containers safely within the yard and dock areas. You will position trailers for loading, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain yard organization while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Ability to qualify for operation of yard equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a yard truck to move trailers and containers within the facility yard.
• Position trailers at loading docks according to schedules and priorities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
• Inspect trailers for damage and report issues.
• Verify trailer and seal numbers when required.
• Maintain accurate trailer movement logs and yard inventory records.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding trailer availability and dock assignments.
• Monitor yard conditions and report safety hazards.
• Ensure proper trailer chocking and safety compliance.
• Assist with yard audits and peak activity as needed.
• Train new yard jockey employees as assigned.
