Job summary

RLM Underground, LLC is hiring a Yard & Facilities Manager in Morris, IL to oversee the Morris facility, yard, materials, and fleet coordination. This hands-on role ensures a clean, safe, and well-organized operation while supplying field crews with materials and equipment.

The position reports to Operations/Construction Management and requires experience in yard management or related fields, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard management, warehouse operations, facilities maintenance, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience with material receiving, inventory counts, and material handling.
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Forklift or equipment operation experience preferred.
• Telecommunications or underground utility construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the facility, yard, and shop.
• Coordinate general facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Track materials received and ensure accurate inventory.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and deliveries.
• Coordinate fleet needs and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
• Support field operations by preparing crews with materials and equipment.
