Job summary

Sofo Foods is seeking a dependable CDL A Yard Driver for our Suwanee, GA Distribution Center to safely move trailers in the yard and support local transportation needs.

The role requires experience with tractor-trailers in yard environments, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Training on safety and DOT regulations will be provided, with opportunities for career growth in a growing, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maneuvering tractor-trailers in a yard environment.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to safely climb in and out of trucks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.

We're looking for a dependable CDL A Yard Driver to join our team at our Suwanee, GA Distribution Center. In this role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by safely moving trailers to and from warehouse dock doors and supporting local transportation needs.

What You'll Do

• Safely move tractor-trailers throughout the yard and position them at warehouse dock doors.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
• Report maintenance issues and repair needs to help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
• Pick up local products and complete additional driving assignments as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience operating and maneuvering tractor-trailers in a yard environment.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to safely climb in and out of trucks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Availability to work 2nd Shift (Afternoons).
