Job summary

Sofo Foods in Suwanee, GA is seeking a dependable CDL A Yard Driver to join our team at the Suwanee distribution center. You will safely move trailers in the yard and support local transportation needs, during a 2nd shift (Afternoons).

You will perform inspections, report issues, and help keep our fleet safe and efficient by following DOT regulations and safety policies, including passing a DOT physical and drug screening. Join a growing, family-owned company with room to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience operating tractor-trailers in a yard environment.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to safely climb in/out of trucks throughout shift.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely move tractor-trailers in the yard and dock doors.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Report maintenance issues to keep fleet safe and efficient.
• Pick up local products and complete other driving tasks.
• Follow all safety policies and DOT regulations.
