Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Yard Driver to move tractor trailers to and from loading docks safely and efficiently. You will operate within DOT regulations and coordinate with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure timely loading and unloading.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6+ months yard hostler/switcher experience, a valid Class A license, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months yard hostler/switcher experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Tractor trailers will be moved around the yard and may move trailers to other locations.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
