Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL to move and park tractor trailers on company property, including loading docks and designated areas, in a safety-first manner.

You will perform trailer inspections, fuel and position equipment, and ensure securement while complying with DOT regulations. This role requires local city driving and a clean MVR, with post-offer drug testing and background checks. Training and a supportive work culture are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months driving experience required.
• Valid non-commercial driver's license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and move trailers safely following DOT regulations and company policies.
• Fuel, move, and park tractors and trailers at docks.
• Transport tractors/trailers to offsite maintenance or inspection facilities (local city driving).
• Secure trucks, trailers, and equipment at all times; complete required documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
