Job summary

Core-Mark International in Shepherdsville, KY, is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL to move tractor trailers to docks, park trailers, and assist with loading/unloading when not moving trailers in the yard.

The role requires DOT compliance, a clean MVR, and a valid non-commercial license. Candidates must be able to lift up to 90 pounds and be available Sundays through Thursdays starting at 7pm for 8–10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months steady work history.
• Clean Class C Driver experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and overtime for the position.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight weighing 10–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
