Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL in Florida to move tractor trailers on company property, load/unload at docks, and maintain safe parking areas. You will interact with customers and coworkers while ensuring timely, safe operations.

The role requires a valid non-commercial driver’s license, a clean MVR, and successful completion of a post-offer drug test and background check. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months driving experience.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and background check.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
