Job summary

Ferguson is seeking 3rd Shift Warehouse Equipment Operators for our Lebanon, TN distribution center! If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and/or receiving, coupled with a dedication to quality, this is the position for you!

3rd shift hours begin at 7:00 PM -3:30 AM CST. The role offers benefits, paid time off, 401K with match, and opportunities to operate powered industrial equipment on a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in putaway, picking, and/or loading preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to operate stand-up high lift, reach trucks or dock stockers.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet.
• Able to bend, twist, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand/walk for long shifts (up to 12 hours).
• Ability to work overtime hours as needed.
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred but not required.
• Drive to excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment following OSHA and Ferguson SOPs.
• Accurately pick quantities or store product in assigned locations.
• Assemble containers and maintain organized supplies.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and support teamwork.
• Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times.
• Use RF scanners or voice devices to process tasks.
• Sort, label and store picked product safely in containers or pallets.
• Attend associate meetings and report concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in putaway, picking, and/or loading preferred
• Strong work ethic
• 80%- Safety spot trailers at dock doors and yard locations; drive yard trucks between designated spots
• 20%- Support general warehouse tasks as needed
• Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required
• Drive to excel in fast-paced environment
• Ability to accurately and safely complete picking and/or storage tasks via operation of powered industrial equipment including stand-up high lift, reach trucks or dock stockers
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet
• Ability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing and/or walking for up to 12 hours
• Ability to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours, based on business need

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment, including but not limited to stand-up forklifts, in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures
• Accurately pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations
• Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner
• Effectively communicate with associates and display teamwork in completing task assignments
• Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
• Execute tasks utilizing hand-held RF units / scanners and/or voice devices
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas
• Accurately sort, label, and store picked product safely in containers or on pallet
• Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $23.79

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
