Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard & Dock Coordinator to lead dock operations and trailer movements on a fast-paced site. You will work with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely dock activities.

The role requires warehouse or dock experience, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. A chance to contribute to a lean logistics environment and 7S workplace standards is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation-related environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Comfort using MS Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading and unloading dock activities to support daily priorities.
• Manage trailer movements and yard flow to meet operational targets.
• Monitor dock conditions and apply stop-work authority when unsafe.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain customer service focus.
• Support site leadership and peers as needed.
