Job summary

Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate at our Phoenix branch. This role involves pulling orders, forklift loading/unloading, and maintaining a safe, organized yard while delivering excellent customer service.

The position requires 1+ year of warehouse/yard experience, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, forklift experience preferred, and flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs).
• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
• Drive forklift and load/unload trailers (70% of time).
• Safely use a forklift and maintain yard stock.
• Load trucks for shipments and inbound material receiving.
• Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment and rotate yard stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure branch success and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments
• Inbound material receiving and put away
• Able to complete work orders and receiving documents accurately
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift
• Maintains clean and safe working environment
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service
