Job summary

Master Halco is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office in the fence and deck supply sector. You will handle loading, sorting, stocking, and order preparation while ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced yard environment.

Role emphasizes forklift use, material handling up to 60lbs, and teamwork to support branch success. A Monday–Friday day shift and opportunities for growth are highlighted in this position.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse/yard experience.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs).
• Forklift experience (sit-down) is highly desired.
• Reading, writing and basic math abilities required.
• Overtime may be required.
• Experience with building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Inbound material receiving and put away.
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Provides excellent customer service and supports branch success.

Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office.

This Position Performs An Array Of Functions, Including

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift.
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
