Job summary

Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply, is hiring a Yard Associate at our Tyler branch to support warehouse and yard operations. You will load trucks, prepare orders, and move materials using a forklift while ensuring a clean, safe yard and excellent customer service.

The role requires 1+ year in a warehouse/yard, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and overtime as needed. We offer a competitive hourly wage, health care, a 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs)
• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments
• Inbound material receiving and put away
• Able to complete work orders and receiving documents accurately
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift
• Maintains clean and safe working environment
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service

This position performs an array of functions including:

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
