Job summary

Master Halco is seeking a Yard Associate at our Tennessee branch in Old Hickory to join North America’s fence and deck supply leader. You will work both inside the warehouse and in the yard, loading shipments, staging material, and supporting daily order fulfillment with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a warehouse/yard role, can lift up to 60 lbs, and are comfortable operating a sit-down forklift.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials up to 60 lbs.
• Forklift experience (sit-down) is highly desired.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Inbound material receiving and put away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment.
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service.

This Position Performs An Array Of Functions Including

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift
• M aintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
