Job summary

Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply, seeks a Yard Associate at our Shreveport branch to support warehouse and yard operations. You will load/unload trailers, prepare orders, and maintain yard stock while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires at least 1 year in a warehouse/yard, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and forklift experience. Overtime and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• This position requires 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard setting.
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials up to 60 lbs on occasion.
• Forklift experience (sitdown) is highly desired.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Inbound material receiving and put away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment.
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.

This Position Performs An Array Of Functions Including

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift.
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
