Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to support the yard operations at our location in the United States. The role involves stationing and retrieving equipment, maintaining a maintenance schedule, and inspecting gear before and after rental to document any issues.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles within a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• safety-focused culture.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure equipment meets all set specifications.
• Inspects equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged equipment.
