Job summary

Master Halco, the fence and deck supply leader, is hiring a Yard Associate at our Knoxville branch. You will review orders, drive a forklift, load/unload trailers, and maintain yard stock while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials up to 60 lbs.
• Sit-down forklift experience highly desired.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Overtime may be required.
• Experience with building materials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Inbound material receiving and put away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment.
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.

Job Overview

This is your opportunity to join the Fence industry leader! Master Halco, Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products is seeking Yard Associate at our branch office. This Position Performs An Array Of Functions Including:

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift.
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
