Job summary

Master Halco, a leading fence and deck supply company, invites applications for a Yard Associate at our branch. You will review orders, prepare material pulls, and safely operate a sit-down forklift to load trailers and stage yard stock.

The role requires 1+ year in a warehouse/yard, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and basic math; overtime may be needed. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion.
• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with building materials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling.
• Loads trucks for outgoing shipments and aids in yard organization.
• Inbound material receiving and put away.
• Completes work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotates yard stock and operates a forklift safely.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment; delivers customer service.

Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office.

This Position Performs An Array Of Functions Including

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift
• M aintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
