Job summary

InProduction is the leading provider of temporary seating, staging, structures, and scenic production for the U.S. live events industry. This full-time, direct hire role supports shipping, receiving, and on-site handling of materials across job sites in Goodyear, AZ.

You will inspect products, pack/unpack shipments, operate delivery vehicles when needed, and help maintain a safe, organized facility. The ideal candidate is diligent, hardworking, able to work overtime, and comfortable reading

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves and place onto pallet
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment needing maintenance
• Ensure safety measures are followed
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition at shift end
• Help maintain a safe and orderly facility environment
• Occasionally assist on local job-sites (building/tearing down structures)
• Other duties as required

About the Job

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves, and then place and secure onto pallet
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• May occasionally help on local job-sites (building and tearing down of structures and loading of trucks)
• Other duties as required

Work Environment

• Is exposed to excessive noise
• Is around moving machinery
• Is exposed to dust
• It is required to work outdoors
• Wearing safety clothing and equipment may at times be required

• Pass background check and drug screening requirements
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
• Able to work overtime occasionally
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
• Fork lift experience and license preferred
• Willing to complete fork lift training preferred
• Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
• Stand continuously for long periods of time
• Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs

Required license or certification:

• Forklift License Preferred
