Job summary

InProduction is hiring a Warehouse Laborer in Ashland, VA for a full-time, direct-hire role supporting shipments, packing, loading, and site prep with safety at the forefront.

The position requires occasional travel to US sites, background and drug screening, and basic hand-tools familiarity. A forklift license and bilingual Spanish-English are preferred.

Starting pay is $21–$24 per hour with overtime; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid holidays, and a floating holiday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Forklift license and training preferred.
• Willing to travel occasionally to sites in the US.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Able to read and understand safety instructions.
• Experience with loading/unloading trucks and using basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming/outgoing shipments by checking them physically.
• Check products for defects and accuracy.
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods.
• Load/unload/prepare/inspect/operate delivery vehicle.
• Inspect machinery for maintenance needs and perform basics.
• Unload materials and stack to assigned places.
• Pull orders and secure onto pallets.
• Ensure safety measures are followed.
• Maintain tools and equipment cleanliness at end of shift.
• May assist on local job-sites (build/tear down structures).
• Other duties as required.

Job Description

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves, and then place and secure onto pallet
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• May occasionally help on local job-sites (building and tearing down of structures and loading of trucks)
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Be willing to travel occasionally to sites under construction in the US
• Pass background check and drug screening requirements
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
• Able to work overtime occasionally
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
• Forklift experience and license preferred
• Willing to complete forklift training preferred
• Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
• Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not required
• Stand continuously for long periods of time
• Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs

Required license or certification:

• Forklift License Preferred
• Current Valid Drivers License

Education Requirements:
