Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites applications for a Security Officer Full Time Xray Detection position in Rialto, CA. The role focuses on protecting clients, screening personnel and items, and maintaining a secure environment at a logistics site.

You will provide professional customer service, verify access, respond to incidents, and perform patrols to deter unauthorized access.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required; licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with site requirements and established procedures.
• Verify identification, access authorization, and delivery documentation; maintain accurate screening and visitor records as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, the business, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized access.
