Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Inspection in Indianapolis, IN. You will serve and safeguard clients across logistics and distribution, using X-ray screening and access-control procedures to maintain a secure environment.

You will interact professionally, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while working a fast-paced logistics site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to lift 20 pounds+.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (21+ for armed roles) with HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of persons, belongings, vehicles, and cargo as assigned, reporting prohibited or unusual items through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Inspection in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening and access-control procedures to help identify prohibited items and support a secure environment. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly while delivering excellent customer service. • Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
